For those of you fortunate enough to have visited India in your lifetime, you'll probably remember it for being an incredibly remarkable place, far removed from what we're used to in the western world. Something that really rams that home of course is the rules of the road and this must be one of the most frequently asked questions: 

"Should I hire a car in India? Are the roads safe?"
